Weekly Workouts: 3/25 – 3/31

Monday: Yoga(60 mins). I hate yoga. There, I said it. But it's good for me and I really want to like it…..maybe if I keep forcing myself to go ill eventually trick myself into liking it?

Tuesday: Spinning.

Wednesday: Chisel(30 mins) and urban rebounding(45 mins).

Thursday & Friday: Rest. Life is just too busy on Thursday and Friday to exercise. I need to work on figuring out how to fit it all in.

Saturday: Chisel(60 mins) and urban rebounding(45 mins). Plus I spent some time at the driving range, pretending to know how to golf. That counts, right?

Sunday: Unplanned rest day. I woke up on Sunday morning and my left calf was killing me. Hopefully it's just sore from chisel and I didn't really hurt the muscle. Either way, I spent the day foam rolling and eating Peeps instead of exercising.

 

Weekly Workouts: 3/18 – 3/24

Monday: 5 mile run.  I tried to go to yoga but there was literally NO space when I got there.  Not a huge disappointment since I hate yoga.

Tuesday:  Street jazz dance class(60 mins) and an urban rebounding class(60 mins).  Dance classes are WAY out of my comfort zone….probably won’t be trying this again.

Wednesday:  Spinning(45 mins).

Thursday & Friday: Rest days.  Too busy with work and life to hit the gym.

Saturday:  Chisel class(60 mins) and urban rebounding(45 mins).  Chisel kills me.  I’m usually sore for three days afterwards.

Sunday:  Spinning(45 mins).  I took it really easy during this class because my legs were dead.  I just wanted to squeeze in a little exercise so I didn’t feel guilty about gorging myself at brunch later in the day.

All in all, not a bad week.  I made it to a lot of classes(which are fun for me), but I need to focus more on running and yoga.
